Bose Krishnamachari is an Indian contemporary artist, curator, and cultural organizer. Born in Kerala, Krishnamachari is known for his multidisciplinary artistic practice, which includes painting, sculpture, photography, and installations.
He is also one of the co-founders of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, which is a major international exhibition of contemporary art held in Kochi, Kerala, India. The biennale, first held in 2012, has since become one of the most significant art events in India, attracting artists and visitors from around the world. Bose Krishnamachari, along with artist Riyas Komu, played a pivotal role in establishing and organizing this biennale, contributing significantly to the contemporary art scene in India.
