“Post-Independence Contemporary Indian Art: Selections from the Sunanda and Umesh Gaur Collection” exhibited 21 paintings and drawings presented at the Rutgers-Newark campus as an educational, representative introduction of its theme.  The works include watercolors, oils and pen-and-ink pieces, in narrative, figurative and abstract styles. 

This exhibition was presented as a follow-up to the Rutgers Zimmerli Art Museum exhibition in New Brunswick in 2002.
