Raghu Rai (b. 1942)

Raghu Rai is a renowned Indian photographer, widely regarded as one of India's most prominent and respected photographers, known for his powerful and evocative images capturing various facets of Indian life and culture.

Raghu Rai's career in photography has spanned several decades, and he has worked with numerous national and international publications, including Time, Life, National Geographic, and The New York Times. He has covered a wide range of subjects, from social issues to political events, and has documented the lives of ordinary people as well as iconic figures.

Rai is associated with the Magnum Photos agency, a prestigious international cooperative of photographers.
